It's typical after an endodontic treatment appointment, your tooth and surrounding gum may be tender for a few days

Do not chew on the tooth for several days. In the meantime, continue with your regular home dental care of flossing and brushing.

Please review and follow the pain medication hand-out. Do not wait to see how the tooth will feel after the 'freezing' local anaesthetic wears off

It is not recommended to drink any alcohol while taking the pain and anti-inflammatory medications. If the pain or swelling cannot be controlled with the recommended medications, call our office immediately for assistance at 604.274.3499.
