Billing

For your convenience the Richmond Endodontic Centre accepts cash, debit cards, and major credit cards. Payment is due at the time treatment is provided. A rough estimate can often be provided prior to your appointment; a more accurate estimate is provided after the initial evaluation. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance provides partial coverage for the cost of treatment. The terms of each plan are unique and are controlled by the insurance company. If you are fortunate and have dental insurance our staff can provide assistance on two fronts:

  • Attaining a pre-authorisation prior to treatment
  • Completing the necessary forms to expedite the delivery of your reimbursement cheque
Please note, you are responsible for all fees regardless of your insurance coverage

For information about dental insurance please visit the British Columbia Dental Association web page.

Assignment of Benefits

The Richmond Endodontic Centre does not accept assignment of benefits. Our expert team will help you attain a pre-authorisation for treatment and complete the necessary paperwork to ensure you receive the benefits that are due to you. Over the last few years, insurance companies have streamlined the pre-authorisation and reimbursement process. Many patients can expect to receive their reimbursement cheques within seven working days.

Privacy

Due to the 2004 Privacy Act, only you have access to the terms of your coverage; insurance companies cannot release such information to dental offices. Nevertheless, our staff is experienced at providing assistance so you can both attain and understand the intricacies of your dental insurance. We are here to help you.
